The Challenge

The client had a blog with 50+ posts but almost no organic traffic. Content was published without keyword research, lacked structured data, and was not interlinked. The site had virtually no topical authority in its niche.

What I Did

• Conducted a full content audit—consolidated thin posts, redirected duplicates
• Built a topic cluster model with 8 pillar pages and 40+ supporting articles
• Performed keyword research using Ahrefs and SEMrush to identify low-competition, high-intent targets
• Rewrote 20 existing articles with proper heading structure, NLP optimisation, and schema
• Added FAQ schema to 30+ posts to capture featured snippet positions
• Built an editorial calendar based on search demand and business seasonality
• Tracked ranking progress and content performance weekly in GA4 and Search Console

Outcome

Organic traffic grew 5x in 6 months. The site now ranks for 200+ keywords, including 15 featured snippets. Monthly organic leads increased from 8 to 65, reducing reliance on paid traffic.
